NKR summed up development results for 2 months
Under the leadership of the head of the region, Gauez Nurmukhambetov, a meeting of the Akimat was held, during which the results of socio-economic development for 2 months of 2024, the execution of the expenditure and revenue parts of the budget were considered.
In the first two months of 2024, economic growth in the region amounted to 109.3%. Gross agricultural output amounted to 23.5 billion tenge, an increase of 3.4%.
The industry produced products worth 91.7 billion tenge. In the manufacturing industry, the volume increased by 7.3%. The growth was ensured by such enterprises as ZIKSTO, Maslodel, Eurasian Milk, Raduga, Zelenyi Sever, a paper products factory, ST Assembly and Petropavlovsk Electrotechnical Plant.
In January-February, 41.3 billion tenge of investments were attracted to the region with an increase of 32.4%. The construction industry also saw an increase in the volume of work performed by 21.5%. Residential buildings with an area of 11.4 thousand square meters were commissioned.
Following the meeting, the head of the region instructed the relevant departments, akims of districts and Petropavlovsk to ensure improvement of development indicators based on the results of the 1st quarter of 2024. It is also necessary to keep special control over the implementation of investment projects and strengthen efforts to attract investors to the region.
