Investment forum for construction companies held in NKR
“Today, an investment forum for construction companies in Kazakhstan was held in the region. The forum was attended by representatives of construction companies from the cities of Nur-Sultan, Almaty, Aktau, Kyzylorda Shymkent and Kokshetau. During the investment forum, micro-districts for development, state support measures, available land plots and mechanisms for their provision were presented,” Kumar Aksakalov, Akim of the North Kazakhstan region, wrote on his social media page.
Promising areas for development are Zhas Orken, Bereke, Kopay, Ortalyk and Naberezhnaya microdistricts. For 5 years, financing of budgetary construction has increased more than 3 times. However, now the focus is shifting towards commercial housing. In 2017, 3 commercial houses were built in the city, and last year 23 high-rise buildings were built, this year there are already 32.
“This work needs to be stepped up. We need to change the face of our city, introduce new architectural solutions. More housing needs to be built in the regional center at the expense of investors. For this, all the conditions have been created, the mechanisms are in place, and the renovation program is working. Therefore, I invite construction companies to implement projects in the field of commercial housing in our region,” the head of the region added.
